2.5 lakh Pre-Registrations For Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in India

Samsung is likely to announce the Galaxy Note 8 in India on September 12, 2017. The registrations were already up in India from August 24 and are still continuing. Till now, almost 2.5 lakh people happen to register for the brand new Galaxy Note 8. It is a record of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as it has got 395,000 pre-booking request in just 13 days.

Industry sources say that nearly 1.5 lakh people have registered for the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 via Amazon India store. Out of them, 72,000 people had booked the device on the very first day when the registrations were opened. Mostly 1 lakh people had registered for Galaxy Note 8 through the Samsung India website.

This Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be out on the same day when Apple will be launching its anniversary edition phone-the iPhone 8. Industry sources reveal, “Samsung was aware of the iPhone launch but was confident enough to launch on the same day owing to its strong leadership position in India.”

The Galaxy Note 8 has got a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge display which is curved on both the left and right sides which are called as Infinity display. It is the first phone to have dual cameras on the rear panel. It has two 12-megapixel cameras, where one captures wide-angle shots, while the other one comes with a telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. On the front, the device comes with an 8-megapixel camera. It also comes with an S-Pen and a dedicated Bixby button. Galaxy Note 8 is backed by a 3,300mAh battery and is coupled with fast and wireless charging technologies.

The price details of Galaxy Note 8 is $930 in its home market. It may cost Rs 59,561.
