Young hero Vijay Devarakonda recently scored a blockbuster through Arjun Reddy. Worldwide which collected 22+ crores share in just two weeks. That would make him close to Rana Daggubati‘s popularity? Some people feel that Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Rana starred solo-hero film, also collected similar ‘shares’ at the box office. So that both heroes will have equal popularity.
Recently a retailer approached these two heroes to become the brand ambassador for their retail outlets across two Telugu states. Quite surprisingly, got a positive response from the heroes, and the retailer has to finalize one. What is shocking for them, the amount quoted by these two heroes for turning brand ambassador.
While Vijay Devarakonda asked for Rs 30 lakhs to become Brand Ambassador of the brand for one year. While Rana Daggubati quoted nearly 1.5 crores for the same one year. Wonder why Rana is offered just a couple of lakhs lesser than that by a retail brand that has spread across the nation. In that case, why would Rana settle for anything lesser than retail brand?
Maybe Rana Daggubati as a solo hero does not have a big hit in hand, but still with a couple of Bollywood films, and in some Tamil movies, and finally, with Baahubali, he has naturally become a national star. Only hits are not considered to measure fame in the case of any celebrity, and that could be understood through Rana Vijay thing.
Meanwhile, the retail brand has roped in Vijay Devarakonda by paying him the 30 lakhs but negotiated with him to endorse for 1.5 years for that price.
