How To Delete WhatsApp Messages Even After 7-Minutes
World’s most popular messaging app WhatsApp has been working to give friendly experience to its one billion users every day. Recently, the company has launched a feature to delete the messages for both the sender and receiver, if a message is sent wrongly. This feature will work within seven minutes from when the message is been sent. However, there’s a bug in it, which lets the user delete it after the specific time frame of 7 minutes. The bug will allow the user to delete the sent messages for up to a maximum of seven days.
Here are the steps to make use of this bug:
Step 1: First off, turn off Internet connection be it your WiFi or Mobile data on your smartphone and head on to settings panel.
Step 2: Now tap on Apps -> Whatsapp -> tap on Force Stop
Step 3: Once you are over with it, go to the settings again and disable the automatic Date & time update.
Step 4: Now change both date and time on your smartphone to the time, when you sent the sent the message. If you are not sure about it, you can scroll the chat till it shows you the date and time on it.
Step 5: Once done, you can delete the message by holding on to the message for few seconds, where you will see two options ‘Delete For Me’ and ‘Delete For Everyone’. If you want to delete for the sender you can do it tapping on it or else tap on the first option. Once done, change the time and date back to normal.
